What a way to kick off the 2025 wedding season with Soleil & Ryan’s gorgeous winter wedding on January 4th! Held at the stunning Cellar 52 in St. Jacobs, Ontario, this snowy celebration was full of love, laughter, and one unforgettable vibe. The best part? They got engaged on my birthday—October 20, 2024! How cool is that?
I immediately connected with Soleil and Ryan, not just because they’re an amazing couple, but because we shared something really special—Border Collies Puppies! Their pups were an important part of their day, and they knew from the start they wanted their dogs to be involved in their wedding. And I was all for it, I absolutely loved that personal touch!
A Perfect Venue for a Cozy Winter Wedding
Cellar 52 is a dream venue, with its two levels of beautiful, naturally lit spaces and that stunning marble fireplace as the perfect ceremony backdrop. Soleil and Ryan prepped upstairs in suites filled with bright, cozy vibes—such a perfect start to their day for the two of them and their families.
Winter Wonderland Vibes
Even though it was too chilly for a first look on the bridge, we found the perfect cozy spot for Soleil & Ryan's first look in the lobby, with a fireplace and stunning staircase. It was the sweetest moment to kick off their day!
As the snow gently continued to fall outside, we took advantage of the picturesque winter wonderland for their couple portraits. The snowflakes in the air made everything feel magical, and the photos we captured on the patio just outside the venue are some of my absolute favorites.
From Vows to Champagne Toasts, the Party Begins
The ceremony began with their family dogs, the cutest ring bearers, stealing the spotlight as they trotted down the aisle. Then, Soleil made her way down to the beautiful sound of her brother playing guitar, adding such a personal touch to the moment. As they exchanged their vows, it was clear just how much love and laughter they shared—seriously, everyone was laughing and crying, making it a truly unforgettable moment.
After the sweet ceremony, it was time to pop the champagne and celebrate! Cocktail hour flowed into a fun and lively reception with all their closest family and friends.
