I aim to document your day as it naturally unfolds. Awkwardly over-posed images are just not my style. They often feel forced and interrupt the flow and vibe of the day. So, let’s skip all that and actually enjoy all the special moments and connections on your day!
I am all about the in-between moments, the big belly laughs, the loving side glances, and the perfectly imperfect moments. You get to show up, be yourself, enjoy the moments, and not have to worry about the photos on your wedding day.
I want to get to know you as a couple, hear all about your wedding day plans, know what moments you are most looking forward to, and the vision you have for your photography of the day. As your photographer, my hope is that through your experience we become friends!
Instead of having you stand beside each other and stare into the camera while smiling, you’re going to be interacting with one another. You’re going to be snuggling into each other, giving each other an absurd amount of kisses, twirling around together, making each other laugh, and just plain having fun and enjoying being together.
This entire experience is about you and I want you to have fun while we create some gorgeous memories together.
My naturally calm personality helps everyone feel relaxed and stress-free. I am a go-with-the-flow attitude means you never have to feel like you are being rushed. If you ever feel overwhelmed I am more than happy to pull you away to have some time to yourselves.
Candid photos are the best way to capture those authentic moments and connections between you and your guests. During your day I love wandering about and capturing those special candid moments that cannot be created.
When it comes to not knowing what to do I got your back. I help you connect with those around you by giving you directions on how to interact so that I can capture those genuine emotions and reactions.

Your engagement session is like practice for your wedding day. It allows you and your fiance to get comfortable with being in front of the camera and put an end to any awkwardness.
Can you imagine spending your entire wedding day thinking the photos are going to look awkward?
I want to make sure that doesn’t happen. That is why I include engagement sessions in all my collections and will always highly suggest doing one. Think of it as a mini date night (with a tag along of course). A couple hours where it’s all about the two of you. You get to slow down from the day to day, snuggle with each other, give lots of kisses, and just be together. It’s also an opportunity to get photos of the two of you in place or season that just wasn’t the right fit for your day (or with a fur-baby that can’t attend).
Small bonus: We get to know each other a little bit more. You get comfortable with the way I work and I get a better understanding of how you like to interact with each other.
So that on your wedding day you can be present and not be worried about your memories getting captured.
I know that getting in front of a camera can feel awkward. I know because I am someone who prefers to be behind the camera rather than in front of it. That is why it is so important for me to get to know you as a couple. It allows me to provide you with a personalized photography experience that helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera. You will forget all about being in front of the camera.
My couples always tell me ‘sorry, we’re really awkward’, ‘this is our first time’, ‘we don’t know what we’re doing’. I know exactly how you feel, we all need help feeling comfortable sometimes. So, instead of staring at the camera I have you focus on each other and interacting with each other. The entire experience is about you and I want you to have fun getting your photos taken.
Planning your wedding can be hard and confusing at times. I am here to help where I can with areas like time management and timeline planning, booking permits, whether to do a first look or not, and some vendor suggestions. I am always here for anything you need. Please feel free to reach out, I would love to hear from you.
I always recommend my couples to schedule extra time in their day just for themselves (even if it is just 5-10 minutes), away from everyone and everything to just relax and enjoy each other for a little while. You'll be surprised how quickly the day goes by and how much you will appreciate the little bit of time just to yourselves.
Remember, you are the guests of honour not the hosts.
Tell me all about you, your fiance and the plans you have for your wedding day! If I still have your date available, we can set up a virtual chat. We will go over all the details, any questions you may have, work out a rough timeline for your day, and figure out which collections fits your day the best for a stress-free day!
I send you a quote to confirm which collection you want to go with and my contract to review and sign. A 30% retainer is required to officially book your wedding date.
We start planning the best time and place for your engagement session. I am more than happy to suggest some locations if needed.
You can check in anytime throughout your planning process. I am more than happy to help with anything you need.
My wedding day questionnaire is sent 3 weeks before your wedding. We meet for a final virtual chat about 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure we are both all good with the plan for the day.
It's finally your wedding day! I am there to capture all the important moments of the day so that you can be present in them and actually enjoy your day!
