A natural, guided approach to your day

My approach is centered around capturing real moments without making you feel like you're constantly being photographed.

I’ll guide you when you need it, whether that’s during portraits or helping you feel comfortable, but I won’t over-direct or interrupt the natural flow of your day.

This allows for a balance of candid storytelling and gently guided images that feel relaxed, genuine, and true to who you are.

If you’re curious about how everything flows from booking to your wedding day, you can explore the full experience here.

A photography experience that feels like you

Couples I work with often want their wedding to feel intentional, relaxed, and meaningful, not like a production.

That’s exactly what I focus on.

I bring a calm, steady presence so you can stay grounded and present, while I capture everything from the big moments to the quiet in-between ones that often end up meaning the most.

Whether you're planning something elegant, laid-back, or somewhere in between, your photos should reflect how it actually felt, not just how it looked.

"Jacquie is one of the best photographers out there in our opinion"

She knows her clients well and it really helps make you feel calm and in the moment so she can capture the memories. She captured both our engagement and wedding photos, and they turned out amazing. We really wanted a natural non-candid shoot and she delivered!

Kitchener Wedding Photography FAQs

How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer in Kitchener?

Most couples book their wedding photographer 8-14 months in advance, especially for peak season dates (May through October). Popular venues in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge tend to book up quickly, so once you have your date secured, it’s a good idea to reach out sooner rather than later.

If your wedding is coming up more quickly, it’s always worth checking my availability.

What are the best wedding venues in Kitchener and the surrounding area?

There are so many beautiful venues in and around Kitchener. Some favourites include:

  • The Walper Hotel for a classic downtown feel
  • Cambridge Mill for waterfront views and elegant architecture
  • Langdon Hall for a more luxury, estate-style setting
  • The Wren House for a cozy, intimate atmosphere

Each venue has its own vibe, which is why I always tailor how I approach the day to match your space and the overall feel you’re going for.

Do you travel outside Kitchener for weddings?

Absolutely. While I photograph a lot of weddings in Kitchener and the surrounding Waterloo region, I also regularly work in places like Guelph, Hamilton, London, and beyond.

Travel is always an option, and we’ll go over any details depending on your location.
