I first met Maria and Edsel in 2023, and from the moment we started chatting about their wedding plans, I knew this was going to be a special one. They’re such a sweet couple, full of love for each other and their families, and I could already tell their wedding day was going to be full of amazing moments.

Fast forward to September 22, 2024, and I was so excited to capture their wedding at the stunning Ancaster Mill in Hamilton, Ontario. The day kicked off in the coziest little Airbnb in Hamilton. The girls got ready upstairs, while the boys were on the main floor, keeping things relaxed and fun. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement in the air, with everyone getting ready to celebrate the couple’s love story.

The First Look at Gage Park

One of the highlights of the day was Maria and Edsel’s first look at Gage Park, right near the water fountain. Gage Park is always a perfect backdrop for intimate moments, but this one was something truly special. The weather was on our side, and as they saw each other for the first time that day, there were smiles, laughter, and a few happy tears (I mean, who can blame them?). Right after their first look, they took a moment to read their handwritten vows to each other, a private moment that truly reflected their deep connection.

The Ceremony at Ancaster Mill Chapel

Next, we headed to the chapel at Ancaster Mill for the ceremony. The atmosphere inside was breathtaking. The couple exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones, and it was such a heartfelt moment. The ceremony felt intimate, with so much emotion in the air, and you could see how much love and support Maria and Edsel have from their friends and family.

Reception in the Millview Room

After the ceremony, we headed to the Millview Room for the reception. This space was such a perfect choice; it’s full of charm and warmth, and it set the stage for a celebration to remember. Maria and Edsel’s guests were ready to party, and the energy in the room was incredible. From heartfelt speeches to an unforgettable dance floor, it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives.

Throughout the day, I made sure to capture all the little moments that told the story of Maria and Edsel’s love; the glances, the laughter, and all the beautiful in-between moments. It was a joy to be a part of their day, and I’m so grateful I could help them relive these memories for years to come.

Maria and Edsel, thank you for letting me be part of your incredible journey. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, adventure, and love.
