Sydney & Shawn’s engagement session at Meadowlily Park in London, Ontario was such a fun one! These two are total naturals together; laid-back, playful, and full of laughter. Honestly, I don’t think they stopped smiling the whole time.
They met back in the winter of 2021 at LHSC. It was Shawn’s very first shift, and Sydney was the one training him. Fast forward a few years, and Shawn proposed in the most perfect, slightly windy, cloudy sunset on Jeju Island in Korea. He even got a passerby to capture the proposal on video, not the most enthusiastic photographer, but it worked!
For their London Ontario engagement session, we kept it relaxed and playful. Since it was their first time in front of a professional camera, we started slow with walking and twirling through the tall grasses at Meadowlily Park. Soon enough, they were snuggling, dipping, running, jumping. Basically just having a blast together. Their comfort and trust made it easy to capture real, genuine moments. Which is what every engagement session should be about.
